Indian Navy Plans Tender For Four LPD Warships

The Indian Navy plans an ₹80,000 crore tender to build four large Landing Platform Dock (LPD) warships, expanding its surface warfare capabilities. The Defence Ministry will review the proposal soon. Indian shipbuilders like L&T, Mazagon Dockyards, Cochin Shipyard, and HSL are expected to lead, with international firms potentially partnering on design.
