Maldives Plans More Direct Flights To Attract Indian Tourists

The Maldives is boosting tourism from India by expanding direct flight connections, aiming to attract about 2 lakh Indian visitors annually. The national carrier currently flies five weekly routes from Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram and is exploring additional services from other Indian cities. Indian tourists already numbered over 1.3 lakh last year.
