400 Egyptian Artifacts Damaged In Louvre Water Incident

A late-November water leak at the Louvre damaged 300-400 non-unique Egyptian research works, including journals and documentation, but no heritage artifacts. The leak followed a major jewel heist in Oct, raising concerns over outdated infrastructure. Repairs are planned, and items will be restored.
