PM Modi condoled the loss of lives in the AP bus accident and announced ₹2 lakh ex-gratia for victims’ families. The PMO termed the incident tragic and said the injured would receive ₹50,000 assistance from PMNRF. At least 14 people were burnt alive and 15 injured after a private travel bus collided with a tipper truck and caught fire in Markapuram district.
