Indian Railways Raises Fares Nationwide From Today

Indian Railways has increased passenger fares from today. Second-class ordinary travel up to 215 kilometres remains unchanged. Longer ordinary journeys see small fixed hikes. Sleeper and first-class ordinary rise by one paise per km. Mail, express, AC, and premium trains increase by two paise per km. Tickets booked earlier stay valid overall.
