Counting of votes for Maharashtra’s civic polls is underway after elections on Jan 15 across 29 municipal corporations. Navi Mumbai’s 9.48 lakh voters elected 111 corporators from 499 candidates across 28 wards. A total of 1,148 polling stations were set at 185 locations, part of 39,000 stations statewide covering 2,869 seats, including major political parties.
