Bombay HC Dismisses Plea Against Adani Transmission, Fines Petitioner!

Bombay High Court imposed a fine of ₹50,000 on a petitioner challenging the contract awarded to Adani Transmission for the supply of renewable and thermal power electricity in Maharashtra. Dismissing the plea, the court said that “the writ petition, in our opinion, is highly misconceived, being based on completely unsubstantiated assertions which are not supported by any material or document.”
