Maharashtra Assembly Approves Resolution To Rename Pune Airport

The Maharashtra Assembly on Thursday passed a unanimous resolution requesting the Centre to rename Pune airport as Jagadguru Sant Tukaram Maharaj International Airport. The airport is currently known as Lohegaon Airport. The resolution will be forwarded to the Civil Aviation Ministry for further consideration.
