29 Assam Nationals Deported From Manipur Over ILP Violations

29 Assam residents were detained and deported from Manipur for violating Inner Line Permit (ILP) regulations. The individuals were found working in a bakery with improperly issued labour-category permits. A police operation uncovered the violation, leading to their deportation. The Imphal West Deputy Commissioner’s office issued the permits incorrectly, and a detailed inquiry has been launched.
