Punjab Deploys 800+ Medical Teams In Flood Zones

Punjab Health Minister Balbir Singh said 818 medical teams, including 458 rapid response and 360 mobile units, have been deployed in flood-hit districts. Over 962 camps treated 31,876 patients. With 11,103 ASHA workers, 170 state ambulances, and 254 NGO-supported vehicles, care for pregnant women, immunisation, and disease prevention remains priority.
