Man Sets Himself Ablaze Near Parliament, Dies

A 26-year-old man who set himself ablaze near the Parliament on December 25 succumbed to his injuries at RML Hospital on Friday, according to officials. Jitendra, hailing from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh, attempted self-immolation by dousing himself with a flammable liquid. He sustained severe burns covering 95 percent of his body and passed away at 2:23 AM due to burn shock.
