Kerala Bans ‘Coldrif’ Cough Syrup After Mysterious Deaths

Kerala has suspended the sale and distribution of Coldrif cough syrup after reports from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan linked it to 11 child deaths. Health Minister Veena George said the move is precautionary. Samples have been sent for testing, and all stocks withdrawn. The action follows DGHS guidelines restricting cough syrups for infants.
