MEA Unveils Upgraded Passport Seva And E-passports

The Ministry of External Affairs launched the upgraded Passport Seva Programme (PSP V2.0) and Global Passport Seva Programme (GPSP V2.0). In a major step forward, e-passports were also introduced for citizens both in India and abroad. This rollout is an important step in modernizing passport services, according to the MEA.
