The Supreme Court today sought responses from the Centre and others on a plea to accord weightage to states’ proposals on the exact cost of cultivation while fixing MSP. A bench led by Chief Justice Surya Kant issued notices, including to the Commission for Agricultural Costs and Prices, seeking replies on full crop procurement at MSP levels.
