Delhi-NCR Air Quality Turns ‘Severe’, GRAP-3 Curbs Enforced

The Centre has imposed stricter anti-pollution measures under Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) as Delhi-NCR’s air quality worsened to the “severe” category. The Commission for Air Quality Management reported the AQI jumped from 362 on Monday to 425 Tuesday, due to calm winds, a stable atmosphere, and winter conditions trapping pollutants.
