The Delhi govt deployed two Indian-made weed harvesters to clean the Najafgarh drain and reduce Yamuna pollution. Minister Parvesh Sahib stated these machines remove dense aquatic waste to improve drainage before the monsoon. This technology-driven move aligns with the goal to clean the river by 2029 while preventing city waterlogging during heavy rains.
