GHMC Issues Order To Close Meat Shops On Oct 2

Slaughterhouses and all meat shops under GHMC limits are ordered to remain closed on Oct 2 in observance of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti. These orders were issued based on the resolution of the Standing Committee under Section 533 (b) of the GHMC Act-1955. The steps will be taken to protect the sanctity of Gandhi Jayanti by monitoring with municipal staff.
