Australia Proposes Social Media Ban For Children Under 16

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has proposed banning children under 16 from using social media, with a minimum age limit to be legislated. Along with Communications Minister Michelle Rowland, Albanese announced the plan on Thursday, aiming to introduce the legislation before the end of 2024.
