3200 BCE Iron Age Swords Unearthed In Tamil Nadu

Archaeologists in Tirumalaipur, Tamil Nadu, discovered India’s longest Iron Age swords. The main sword is nearly 8 feet long, with another 6.5 feet long, arranged in an X shape. Based on previous findings at Shivgalai, experts estimate this Iron Age civilization existed around 3200 BCE, shedding light on early advanced metallurgy in the region.
