The Election Commission of India will announce Assembly poll dates for Assam, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, and Puducherry this evening. A press conference is scheduled at 4 PM to reveal the timetable, as the terms of these assemblies end between May and June. Final electoral rolls have been published following the Special Intensive Revision.
