Jaishankar Assures MK Stalin Of Efforts To Secure Release Of Detained Fishermen

Union External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar assured Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin that his Ministry would continue efforts to secure the early release and repatriation of Indian fishermen detained by Pakistan. This assurance followed a letter from Stalin, dated November 20, 2024, regarding the detention of 14 Indian fishermen, including seven from Tamil Nadu, by the Pakistan Navy.
