The first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections began with voting in 121 of 243 constituencies. Over 3.75 crore voters are eligible to cast their ballots across 45,341 polling stations from 7 am to 5 pm. By 3 pm, voter turnout reached 53.77%, with Begusarai recording the highest at 59.82%, reflecting strong public enthusiasm.
