14 Children Dead In MP, FIR Lodged Against Doctor

14 children died from suspected renal failure after consuming Coldrif cough syrup in Chhindwara, MP. Police arrested Dr. Praveen Soni for negligence and filed an FIR against manufacturer Sresan Pharmaceutical. The MP government banned the syrup, found highly toxic. Most deaths occurred in Parasia, with others in Chhindwara city and Chaurai tehsil.
