Himachal Pradesh experienced widespread rainfall and fresh snowfall in higher reaches, disrupting normal life, the IMD said. Snowfall occurred in Kangra, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, and Shimla, with rainfall across most districts. Thunderstorms with gusty winds prompted alerts. Weather will ease after April 9, remaining largely clear for four to 5 days.
