JSW To Launch Its Own EV Brand As Part Of ‘Make in India’

After a $1.5 billion joint venture with China’s SAIC Motor to sell Morris Garages’ electric vehicles, JSW Group is set to launch its own EV brand as part of the Make in India. Chairperson Sajjan Jindal emphasized that the company aims to manufacture and add value in India, not just serve as a Chinese outpost. A new car plant in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, will support this venture.
