Supreme Court Comments On Politics In Murugan Defamation Case

Supreme Court observed that politicians should be prepared for unwarranted compliments while hearing Union Minister L. Murugan’s plea in a defamation case. Murugan had challenged the September 2023 Madras High Court order refusing to quash defamation proceedings filed by the Murasoli Trust over his alleged defamatory remarks during a press conference in December 2020.
