TVK chief Vijay requested the CBI to conduct future Karur stampede inquiries in Chennai or elsewhere in Tamil Nadu due to his election commitments. He appeared in New Delhi on March 15 for over seven hours. Vijay emphasized his compliance as a law-abiding citizen and expressed grief over the 41 lives lost in the tragedy.
