Himanta Sarma Willing To Ban Beef In Assam

Responding to Congress allegations about BJP distributing beef to win Samaguri, Himanta Sarma called it a “shame” for Congress, as the constituency had been under their control for 25 years. Sarma challenged Rakibul Hussain’s comment on beef, suggesting that if Congress agrees, beef could be banned in Assam. He offered to take written confirmation from Hussain to resolve the issue.
