Trivandrum Airport Bags 1st Prize In Energy Efficiency

Thiruvananthapuram International Airport (TIAL) won first prize from the Kerala government for excellence in energy management in the buildings category. Its engineering team saved 0.913 million units, cutting power costs by about ₹82 lakh in 2025-26. Minister V. Sivankutty presented the award, which was received by officials Rahul Bhatkoti and K. S. Shibu Kumar.
