Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is planning a new system to ease the burden of carrying coins for devotees. Authorities propose issuing a printed receipt or document for donations made through digital payment apps. Devotees can place this document in the hundi instead of cash. The TTD board is expected to take a final decision on implementing the step.
