28 Proposals For 23 New Cities Submitted To Centre

Union Housing and Urban Affairs Ministry has received 28 proposals from 23 states for the incubation of new cities, which are currently under examination by the competent authority, as informed in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. In February 2021, the ministry announced plans to develop eight new cities to address the growing demand for urban expansion.
