China has expanded its visa-free transit policy, allowing travelers from 54 countries, including the US, to stay for up to 10 days in select regions. The new policy, effective immediately, aims to boost tourism and China’s economy after pandemic isolation. Travelers must have confirmed exit tickets within 10 days and can visit 60 locations across 24 provinces.
