India-US Trade Deal Expected By November: Goyal

Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal said India aims to conclude a bilateral trade agreement with the US by November, citing minor geopolitical issues delaying talks. Since March, five rounds of negotiations have occurred, with the sixth postponed after the US imposed 50% duties on Indian goods. The deal seeks to double bilateral trade to $500 billion by 2030.
