China Says Afghanistan Should Decide Bagram Base

China responded to  Trump’s remarks on reclaiming Bagram Air Base, emphasizing that the decision belongs to Afghanistan and its people. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stressed China’s respect for Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, stating that Afghanistan’s future should be determined by its own citizens.
