Taiwan Reports Chinese Military Activity In Its Vicinity

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defence reported detecting 12 Chinese military aircraft and 5 naval vessels near its territory on Friday morning. Five aircraft crossed the Taiwan Strait median line into Taiwan’s southwestern air defense identification zone (ADIZ). Taiwan’s military monitored the activity closely and took appropriate measures, as shared in an official statement.
