The Union Government and ADB signed a $126.42 million loan to promote climate-resilient, sustainable tourism in Uttarakhand’s Tehri Garhwal district. The project will improve infrastructure, sanitation, waste management, and disaster preparedness, benefiting over 87,000 residents and 2.7 million visitors in this vulnerable Himalayan region.
