SC Urges Protesting Farmers Not To Cause Inconvenience To Public

The Supreme Court on Monday urged Punjab farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who is on a fast at the Khanauri border, to ensure that protesting farmers do not obstruct highways or inconvenience the public. The Court dismissed a habeas corpus petition after Dallewal’s release and said that peaceful protests should not disrupt public, especially at critical locations like Khanauri border.
