IMD Issues Red Alert For 3 Tamil Nadu Districts

The IMD has issued a red alert for extremely heavy rainfall in three central districts on Nov 26 and two on Nov 27 as a depression formed over the Bay. Neighboring Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, and Chengalpet received yellow and orange alerts for Nov 27-30. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall in Chennai remains from Nov 27-29.
