Smart Toll System Launched At Pantangi To Reduce Festival Traffic

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy prompted NHAI to trial satellite-based automatic toll collection at Pantangi plaza on the Hyderabad–Vijayawada highway. The system, tested on eight booths, aims to speed up payments, reduce congestion, and manage festive traffic, with full operations expected to process 20 vehicles per minute per booth.
