Indian Becomes World’s Highest-Ranked Photographer

Indian wildlife photographer Baiju Patil has been recognised as the world’s No.1 photographer after winning the Gold Medal at the Refocus Awards 2025, outperforming talent from 109 countries. He captured a rare moment of a grey heron struggling to catch a snakehead fish at the Bharatpur bird sanctuary, becoming the first Indian to earn this honour.
