Transmission Corporation of AP Ltd. has directed DISCOMs to accelerate rooftop solar installations under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana. Special Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand said the utility-led aggregation model is benefiting SC and ST households. Over 20,636 homes across APCPDCL, APEPDCL, and APSPDCL have already received solar systems statewide.
