3 Police Stations Refused To File Case In Cuttack Gang-Rape: Congress

Congress MLA Sofia Firdous alleged that 3 police stations in Cuttack, Odisha, initially refused to file a complaint for a 19-year-old gang rape survivor, forcing her to approach multiple stations before the FIR was registered. 6 individuals, including the woman’s boyfriend, were arrested for repeated assault and blackmail. Firdous urged DGP YB Khurania to investigate the police’s response.
