An 83-year-old Japanese fan surprised SS Rajamouli, who flew to Japan to attend a special screening of his critically acclaimed film, RRR. A loving gift of 1000 carefully made origami cranes, which stand for wishes for luck and blessings, was given to SS Rajamouli and his wife, Rama Rajamouli.
SS Rajamouli shared heartwarming photos of himself, his wife, and the old woman on the ‘X’ handle. The director stated, “In Japan, people make origami cranes and gift them to their loved ones for good luck and health,” beside these pictures.
The post continues to say that an 83-year-old woman blessed us with 1,000 of them because RRR made her joyful. She was waiting outside in the bitter cold after sending the gift. “Some gestures can never be repaid,” SS Rajamouli went on. Simply thankful.
A video from the special screening event was published earlier on RRR’s official ‘X’ page. The video showed a packed theater filled with people waving radium light sticks. A few minutes later, SS Rajamouli is spotted filming the ecstatic crowd for a video.
The video was linked with the test, stating, “We are watching the love from 6000 kilometers away, our birthplace, Hyderabad, India, on the 752nd day since the original theatrical release and the 513th day since the theatrical premiere in Japan. What more is possible? The arrival of everything is a blessing! Love you, viewers.”
