The Bihar government’s swearing-in ceremony is set for November 20 in Patna. Sources confirm that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to attend. Top leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), including union ministers and chief ministers of coalition-led states, will also be present to witness the oath-taking of the new government.
Bihar CM Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant said the NDA’s sweeping victory in the assembly polls was “better than expected”. He thanked voters, saying they endorsed his father’s development record and vision. With the NDA winning 202 of 243 seats, Nishant said the government will continue its focus on Bihar’s rapid development agenda.
Chirag Paswan said the NDA will form the new Bihar government before November 22, adding that the coalition’s blueprint will be finalised within a day.
