Bengal Doctors Partially Resume Duties After 42-Day Standoff

Junior doctors in West Bengal partially resumed their duties at govt-run hospitals on Saturday after a 42-day strike. They had been protesting for the rape and murder of a female doctor at RG Kar Medical College. While they returned to essential and emergency services, they continued their boycott of outpatient departments (OPDs). Doctors said that this is only a partial resumption.
