100 Rescued From Rain-Flooded Island In Karnataka

100 villagers from Mang Wasti were left stranded after rising waters turned their land into an island in Karnataka’s Belagavi district. Torrential rains and discharge from Maharashtra worsened flooding. Quick-response teams from the SDRF and fire services rushed to Hulagabal village to rescue the affected families trapped by the floodwaters.
