In a piece of great news for people, at least three new airports will be set up soon in Andhra Pradesh. BJP state president Daggubati Purandeswari highlighted that with the NDA in power both in the center and in the state, the center is planning to set up new airports.
The news airports are Kuppam in Chittoor district, Dagadarthi in Nellore district, and Mulapeta in Srikakulam district. The work on the international airport at Bhogapuram in Vizianagaram district got speeded up after the NDA came to power in both the state and the center.
It is known that Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, Lok Sabha MP from Srikakulam, became the civil aviation minister. The work at Bhogapuram is in full swing now. The contractor has assured that he will try to complete the full project by December 2026.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu visited Bhogapuram last week and also directed the airport to complete the construction of the international airport by 2026. He said that the early completion of the airport was on top of the NDA government’s agenda.
