Congress Calls For Nationwide Protests On Dec 24

The Congress party has called for nationwide protests on December 24 in response to Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in the Rajya Sabha. Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal has suggested that the protests begin with the garlanding of Ambedkar’s statues, followed by the submission of a memorandum to the district magistrates.
