Threat Averted As Bay Of Bengal Low Pressure Weakens: IMD

The India Meteorological Department has confirmed that the air system formed in the Bay of Bengal has weakened into a severe low pressure, reducing the threat to Andhra Pradesh. The IMD predicts light to moderate rains in several districts of AP over the next 3 days. Fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea during this period.
