SBI Survey Shows Decline In Population Growth Rate In Telugu States

The SBI survey revealed a decline in the population growth rate in both Telugu states. The decrease was particularly notable in Tamil Nadu, AP, and Telangana, while Uttar Pradesh and Bihar accounted for 33% of the population growth. The elderly population is projected to exceed 15 crores by 2024, with 7.7 crore women and 7.3 crore men. Currently, the elderly population stands at 4.6 crore.
